STAND-UP / WALK-AROUND ENTERTAINERS
(Magicians, Jugglers, Balloon Twisters, Clowns, etc.) will arrive 15-30 minutes early. Some of the entertainers will need a secure area to leave a small bag with personal and entertainment supplies not presently in use at times during their performance. Please let us know ahead of time if a secure area cannot be provided.
MAGIC, VARIETY & ENTERTAINMENT STAGE OR GROUP SHOWS
Entertainers will arrive 20-45 minutes early depending on their needs. Please check with us to ensure that the provided space required for the show is adequate. These shows work best when they are not competing with other group activities such as bands, dance shows, other shows, Santas, etc. The audience’s attention and participation is required to assure a fabulous show. Our entertainers are expected to check in with you or an appropriate contact person prior to and at the end of the event. If you see anyone who looks like and entertainer walking around please introduces yourself or let us know ahead of time where you can be found. It makes it easier to find you and to ensure that the artist begins on time and is set up in the appropriate area. Also, please do not locate any entertainers directly under or near speakers or in tight crowded areas as it makes it very difficult for them to hear and attend to the entertainment requests of your guests.
All events are booked by the hour with a starting and finishing time. For children’s events, Bar/Bat Mitzvah’s, birthday parties, etc., it’s helpful and tends to provide you with the most service for your money if you can be sure that all or the majority of your guests have arrived by the time the artist begins. Sometimes an artist is booked for back to back events and cannot start or stay late. If you think there is a possibility that you would like the artist to stay overtime it’s helpful if we know that information at the time of booking. But whether we or you know this ahead of time, if you decide you’d like them to stay additional time, please ask the artist at least ½ hour to 45 minutes before their scheduled ending time. If agreed to please have checks ready and present them to the artist at the end of their time.
